we have been providing Priesthood Lines of Authority
for our customers, we have archived all of the information
we have received. If you know who ordained you but have
not been able to find out that person's lineage, or you
are doing family history work, e-mail us with whatever
facts you currently have and we will check our database
to see if we can provide you with the information you
are seeking.
In
the event that we are unable to find any information,
the church has now began to track certain priesthood lines once again. See the News Item box below.

Story
We
received a archive request from a woman in Arizona who
had not heard from the person who ordained her husband
in several years. Through an exhaustive search and help
from above, we were able to locate the man and reconnect
them. As it turns out, this man and his wife live in
our stake in Tennessee!
The
Lord does work in miraculous ways!

The Church has started a new program where you can contact them for Line of Authority information, as long as the person is directly related to you.
Call 801-240-3500 (or 800-453-3860 toll free), ask for Member Services, and choose option 6, then option 2.
Be prepared to give as much information as possible.
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Current ward and stake
- Address and ZIP Code
- Who ordained you
- Who ordained them, if known
Member Services will put in a request for your information and mail you what they find.
You may now also email Church Membership with the same information and they will mail your line of authority to you.
